I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
