*Jack Reynolds is sat at a table (HBO Face-Off style) with chairs either side. Dicey Reilly & JJ Johnson make their entrances and the cameras show us that there is a dozen security guards in the room with them. JR: Gentlemen, thank you for joining me… *JJ takes off his sunglasses now and stares across the table at Dicey – who doesn’t blink JR: We are, of course, on the cusp of one of the biggest matches in the history of 6CWF. This is a clash of brands, a clash of styles, lifestyles….Dicey, you have always flown the 6CW flag with pride….JJ, certainly in the early years, you were seen as “Mr 6WF”…..you have both spoken about the initial 6CW-6WF war of 2009….your paths did not overly cross from an in-ring perspective but there was certainly a lot of communication behind the scenes…dare I say it – there was a respect between you….so what’s changed? *Dicey points at JJ Dicey: He changed….he became everything that he has always stood against and despised. He brought up Drake & River but now look at him…corrupt to the core… *JJ doesn’t say anything to this Dicey: Stacking the deck in his favour….putting his friends in positions of power…..I never thought I’d see the day where JJ Johnson sold out but here we are… JR: How do you respond to that JJ? JJ: I don’t really need to respond, I don’t owe this man a damn thing…..but hell let’s talk about selling out if that’s the way this conversation is going…. Sitting across from me like he’s the white knight….but conveniently forgets when he took Alex Walker’s money and joined Re-Genesis……the same faction he had chased out of his beloved 6CW just a year earlier….. *Dicey sniffs but shows no sign of emotion JJ: See I may have done a few questionable things of late – God will judge me on that when the time comes – but one thing JJ Johnson never did & never will is become someone else’s b1tch…. *Jack Reynolds casts a look at security as tensions rise. Dicey smirks JJ: That funny, Dice? Dicey: Acer certainly made you his b1tch at Day of Reckoning…. *JJ’s eyes flash Dicey: We can sit here and go back and forth about our careers….mistakes we have made, things we could have done differently…but none of it changes this moment right here….and we have both wanted this for a very long time – haven’t we? JJ: I ain’t gone lie – this is a match I’ve played over in my head on a few occasions. I’ve done nearly faced everyone in the business…..from icons to legends & more… *Dicey nods in agreement of his own career JJ: Stood on the grandest stages in front of the biggest crowds – but this match right here….Dicey Reilly, Night of Glory X…..I’d say that’s right up there on any kind of bucket list….akin to facing The Undertaker at Wrestlemania…..or JJ Johnson at Born in Fire… So yeah – when I walked out to the ring a few weeks ago to confront you I was mad….pi55ed off that you cost me in the “Gateway to Glory”…..but fast forward to today and my mindset is a whole lot different….. See being “Undisputed” Champion is one of the greatest accolades imaginable – but between the two of us we have every accolade available…this goes beyond titles – I’m sure he’d say the same… JR: Would you agree, Dicey? Dicey: I would….obviously competition and the desire to be a champion again resides within me because otherwise I wouldn’t be here…..but he’s right, some things go beyond that….when I spent years rehabbing the injuries sustained at the hands of Marty Helms, doctors telling me I wouldn’t wrestle again….it is matches like this, events like Night of Glory that spurred me on….this is what I came back for… *JJ twists his hands together now – we see his mother’s cross has been attached to a bracelet around his wrist JJ: And I hear that…..I’ve done the rehabs, done been told I wouldn’t ever wrestle again… JR: In some ways – your paths are very similar… *JJ & Dicey lock eyes JR: And yet, JJ – you say you don’t respect the man that Dicey Reilly is? JJ: As a competitor – I have nothing but respect…I respect the way he carried his company on his back, I respect his accomplishments….. But the lifestyle – it isn’t my way…..despite being from the streets, I don’t live a life like a drunk & debauched… *Dicey shrugs at this and now he reaches under the table and produces a bottle with three glasses Dicey: And here I was – ready to toast our match… *JJ eyes the glasses as Dicey fills them with an amber liquid JJ: I didn’t say I wouldn’t drink….but the way we carry ourselves – is different…..that’s just how it is…we have different definitions on how someone in our statues should present themselves… JR: I think that speaks volumes in terms of fan support….human beings see the same thing in different ways….that’s why thousands in attendance will be supporting Dicey and thousands will be supporting you, JJ….the same way it has always been… JJ: And always will be… *Dicey nods in agreement JR: We sit here and I can feel the respect….you both talk with respect….and yet when you step in the ring together – it is immediate fireworks… *Dicey shoves one of the glasses toward JJ now – who takes it. Dicey: Warrior spirit….between the ropes we become different people….and when we step in the ring – we really don’t like one another… *JJ sips the alcohol now JJ: Plus we gotta know….who’s the best…. JR: You have already suggested you know the answer to that? JJ: And I do….but he needs to find out, just like the whole world does….JJ Johnson – whether the people cheer me or boo me – is gonna be remembered as the greatest to ever do it… JR: Greater than him (points to Dicey)… JJ: Of course (Dicey smirks and sips his drink)….that doesn’t make it personal, just makes it fact. He can still be great….he’s just not on my level….nobody is……a few have come close to but prime for prime – there isn’t one better…. JR: Dicey? Dicey: Maybe he’s right – talent wise he’s world class. We’ve seen that for nearly two decades….he beat prime versions of Cassius Zhi, Hero, Keith Leone….all of whom were said to be his “equals”…. But the difference is – he’s never fought anyone hungrier than I am. See the difference is I don’t play by any set rules, I don’t conform to expected standards…..I was “born to fight” and fighting is exactly what I do….he isn’t going to wrestle me at Night of Glory….he’s in for the fight of his life…. And like Marvin Hagler said “It’s tough to get out of bed at 5am to do roadwork when you sleep in silk pyjamas”…. *JJ smiles at the boxing analogy Dicey: I fight with a challenger’s mentality, always….nothing changes. I’m still the exact same kid that was brought up on the streets of Dublin…. That’s where we differ…..my approach doesn’t change, never has….I don’t forget where I came from… And at Night of Glory he’s going to find that out…..this may be a “dream” match but it will soon turn into a nightmare for you…because I want this more than you do….I want it more than you could ever imagine….and I will do whatever I have to in order to win…there’s no stone I will not overturn to get that victory…..can you say the same? With your beautiful family, billions in the bank, lavish house and lifestyle…..when the going gets tough? How much do you really still need to be doing this? *JJ considers Dicey’s words as he drains his drink now and places the empty glass on the table JJ: I guess you’re just going to have to wait and see… *Dicey smirks as he reaches for the bottle now, abandoning the glasses, and takes a huge swig. JR: Will the two of you shake hands? JJ: I’ll gladly shake his hand – after I’ve beaten him…. *Dicey smiles at this and pours JJ another drink Dicey: Slainte! *JJ picks his glass up again and inclines it toward Dicey before pouring the liquid all over the floor. Dicey stands up in a flash now and JJ does the same. Security are already moving into place as the two men eyeball one another. JR: I think, maybe, we should wrap this up….
